1

Aberaeron

Aberaeron is a beautiful Georgian, picture-perfect Harbour town and just 15 minutes drive or bus journey away. It has a charming harbour, ideal for whiling away an afternoon or enjoying a bite to eat in The Harbourmaster or Y Seler – two great local Welsh restaurants.

2

Aberystwyth

Aberystwyth is a traditional Victorian seaside and University town 40 minutes away.  Cardigan to the south of New Quay was once the most important port in Wales and is now a bustling town full of interesting shops including local art and craft. Why not visit Cardigan Castle – significant as the first stone castle built by a Welshman and the birthplace of the first eisteddfod in 1176.

3

Mwnt

Cardigan Bay offers some of the most spectacular beaches in the UK. From large sweeps of the bay to a number of small quieter beaches and picturesque coves – Ceredigion offers it all. Also check out the charming seaside villages of Llangrannog, Penbryn, Tresaith and Mwnt.
